Baby Blessing

As a teenager and young women having my menstrual cycle was very rare. I was diagnosed with PolyCystic Ovarian (PCO) disease and was put onto a contraceptive pill to encourage my body to have a cycle (medically induced) as a teenager. My ovaries were enlarged and my hormones unbalanced.

I married in my late twenties eager to have a family but due to my PCO this was very difficult.

My mother also had the same fertility issues and was put on fertility treatment and had twins as an outcome, of which I was one☺. My Doctor suggested a similar path but I was reluctant to take the medication and I wanted to take a different approach.

I then met Illumina Rose in 2007 and everything changed! I was not taking any form of contraception and had regular appointments over a period of time. Rose guided me through many processes allowing me to gain understanding and knowledge about me and the journey of self transformation began. This was life changing to say the least and it opened me up to a whole new world. My menstrual cycle gradually returned and regular ovulation was prominent falling pregnant with our first son in October 2008 with his birth in July 2009.

After our first son was born I returned to contraception as I my cycles were the most regular they had been in my entire life and we did not want our children close together. In 2014 my husband and I decided to try for another baby not knowing how long it would take and our second son was born in June 2015. There was some excitement and shock to say the least that I was firstly pregnant so quickly and secondly with some sign of twins in the early stages but the pregnancy brought through one healthy 8 pound 9 ounces boy ☺

We are now a very happy family of four with two healthy sons aged 8 and 3 years and my cycles are regular.

My gratitude is immense and the guidance which Rose has provided me personally and my whole family has been life changing and will continue to be.
